My grandfather died also, almost seven years ago. He was the first person I loved so much and lost. This may sound grim, but as much as I want to tell you time heals all wounds, it still hurts me. Pain has turned to numbness, but it's still there.
This will go by you in a blur, everything will proceed as normal, and one day it will hit you. It's the hardest stage of death to overcome, but the healing will begin after that. You'll never forget, so please don't fear it. Let things come as they do, be strong.
